I hired Chris Mullin to fix my roof after seeing his sign on some of my neighbor's property. He did work for them and they seemed happ and the worked seemed to be done well, so I called him. He did a pretty good job on my roof, although it was just a very small roof in the front of my house. Not sure how he would be on a big job. He said he did cement work and I needed a new sidewalk in front of my house. He told me what a great job he would do and how he doesn't use cheap cement like some other guys do. Well, it's just over a year later and the sidewalk is falling apart. It's full of cracks and is turning funny colors. I called him several times and he never returned my calls. Now I never even see his signs in my neighborhood either.
