Businiess name:  Red Gate Liquor Store

Review content:
I absolutely hate Red Gate. There are some decent things I could say about the their wine and beer inventory but I'll forgo any niceties because their customer service is deplorable and horrendous. I'm yet to figure out why they are so unfriendly toward me. There is some speculation I could make about what it is but I won't; I'll just simply state things as they are. I recently moved back to an area where liquor stores are scarce. Red Gate being 1 of about 4 in the area. Having frequented the place through the 80's I decided to make it my go-to store for spirits. That was until I went there. The staff did all but ignore me outright. No hello. No welcome. No offer of assistance. I found my items and placed them on the counter. There was no small, insignificant or friendly chit-chat. The clerk rang up my items, told me my amount and gave me my change. No thank you. No see you later. No have a good one. And above all; No come back and see us. I was miffed and decided I did not feel welcome there. The next visit was with and another gentlemen (he choose to go there) and there were patrons in the store also. Me and my guest were completely ignored again (except by some friendly patrons who either spoke, smiled or nodded a hello) however they did joke and chat with others who were present. The 3rd and last time was today.04/20/2015 I was in a rush and did not feel like crossing I-30 to go to Rafferty's (where the atmosphere is more friendly) THIS TIME there were 3 clerks behind the counter and no other patrons. I walked into the store and they literally all looked up and looked away with obvious and blatant disinterest. I said ""Hey, how's in going?"" loudly enough for all of them to hear and was met with complete silence. I paid for my item while returning the same hateful glares and discourteous attitude they were giving me. I think they got the picture this time and so did I. I will no longer spend my money there under ANY circumstance. The gate is red for a reason. It's Hell on earth. And I hope everyone currently working there stays there forever.
