Review content:
We had a party of twenty for my mom's Birthday at Bula. Everything was terrific. The food from the shrimp cakes, to the pear salad, the swordfish over basmati rice to the summer chicken was all fresh and delicious. The service was superb. Our waiter was a nice young man (david i think) who was very friendly. Our party was very loud and constantly up out of their seats, but he did a wonderful job of keeping track of everyone's order and never seemed to be too intrusive. All the food was delivered in a timely manner. BYOB also allowed us to drink up without running the check up too much. It's funny, living in NYC (and thus being a bit of a food snob) you would never expect a restaurant like this in such an unassuming town. Worth the trip! Pros: delicious food, friendly smart service Cons: why wasn't it full of other diners?
