Review content:
I spent over a week at Brookwood in December 2015. It was a HORRIBLE experience. On one hand, the rehab staff were top rate. On the other hand Brookwood was a hideous place. The staff were extremely short handed, food was worse than a dog should be forced to eat. In my wing everyone got food poisoning due to terrible food. Staff tried to tell us we had the flu. I spent a whole night vomiting after a meal there. The next day a staff member made a cursory wipe of the general area floor but the smell was there until I left. They put me in a child sized bed when I arrived. I'm not a tall man but I had to let my feet dangle off to the side of the bed because I couldn't fit onto the miniature bed provided. Extremely slow response from staff when needed. This place should lose its license.
