This company needs to be investigated. They should not be licensed to operate anymore. The most unprofessional uncaring company I have ever delt with, they are only in business because they offer cheap crappy apartments to un-suspecting college kids. I lived in one of their units for two years. \r

-Significant mold in the shower and floors\r
-The bedroom window and ceiling leaked for two years despite numerous complaints\r
- Maintenance staff that entered the apartment ?at will? (if and when they finally showed), without prior notification and without leaving notice that they were there. This included entering the apartment while I was in the shower and asleep.\r
- Multiple unannounced water shut-offs\r
- Ongoing excuses from the administrative staff (when and if they even respond):\r
o ?We never received a maintenance request?\r
o ?It must have been misplaced?\r
o ?Can you send the paperwork again, because I can?t find it? \r
o ?I promise we have not forgotten about it?\r
o These excuses culminated with Veronica losing my original deposit refund slip despite me filling it out in-office and hand delivering it to her. She also lost a rent check but accused my roommate and I, who always paid rent on time, of not paying. She later found said check after much insisting on our part that yes, we had paid our rent and had both given her our checks.\r

I lived in the Sandpiper complex,\r
and the building itself is just falling apart, a neighbor had a hole in their ceiling for weeks, the beams are cracking, the cement on the stairs and walkways are all cracked, birds build nests inside the roof. \r

Despite all of these, this company felt justified in taking money from my security deposit. The apartment was in better condition when I moved out than when I moved in. But do they care? No. Why? because they are a greedy poorly run company who has zero concern for their reputation or anyone renting from them. I can not stress enough how awful they are. Look at all these other reviews. Would a good company even let these continue? They get ZERO STARS\r

Mr. Firnhaber is also unreachable. I have e-mailed him directly twice now, but it appears all communication is done with the incompetent office secretary Veronica. She has been one of the big factors of my problems with this company. I am appalled at how poorly run and managed this establishment is.
