Review content:
My Check Engine Light was on and the local Toyota dealership told me I needed a replacement charcoal canister - it was pretty expensive so I took it to these guys for a second opinion. They were very accommodating and gave a free diagnosis, resetting the CEL for me at no cost. I'll have to drive a few cycles to see whether the light returns (in which case I'd have to take it back), but the guys at Meineke were very agreeable to answering my questions, even let me watch the whole thing and, when I asked, gave me a rundown of car parts and maintenance basics. They were knowledgeable, helpful, and honest - next time my first stop will be here instead of the dealership. Caveat: While I was waiting, an international student came in and his English wasn't perfect - he wasn't treated very well. In addition, conservative radio was playing in the waiting room, so just be prepared, try not to take offense if they're gruff at first.
