Review content:
I started going to Queen City Comic and Card back in the early 90's, fell off when I went to high school, fast forward 19 years and I recently decided to pick up collecting comic books again, so I figured what better place than where I left off? Seeing some of the negative reviews I have to wonder if those folks are going to the same shop. I frequent both locations and have found the staff helpful, friendly, and courteous, if anything I'm the quiet one on account of my preference to concentrate while I hunt down books on my lists. Geoff has struck up conversation anytime I've presented the opportunity, as has Matt (He had to run some CDs around the block to his car one afternoon so I walked with him while he took care of that, we had a nice chat about comics, and I learned some things I didn't know beforehand). Bob (the Fairfield Mgr.) is a little more reserved but totally friendly and helpful if you make an inquiry. The pricing is hit and miss, sometimes I get a great deal, others they get me for a few bucks, but near as I can tell it seems to even out in the end (also, the price is on the bag, you can examine the book, if you don't agree, just give it a pass). Easily my favorite stop during the week, and I always find a gem while I'm there. Bottom line: I highly recommend Queen City Comic and Card to anyone who enjoys collecting, I promise they have something there for you!\r \r Sincerely,\r Simon Christian
