Review content:
A very close friend was recently released from Lakeshore after almost 2 months of treatment. Seemed like the Doctor was trying to really help her, tried several different medications, final one he put her on has in his words severe complications if she suddenly stops taking it. She was sent home without medication just a prescription which was a 2 day nightmare trying to get it filled. Her blood is to be check after a week on it before she can have a refill. Since she was released the hospital will not check it and her insurance was changed do to Medicaid changes and her past Doctors do not accept her insurance. Where can she go from here she does not accept her illness and stops taking her medication until she totally shuts down and ends up back in a Hospital. The cycle has been going on for almost 20 years. Family and friends are at a loss to help her. The Mental Hospitals drug them and send them out as fast as they can without any possibility of a positive result.
