The Staff were nice- hence the one star. It looked alright in the waiting room, but when I took my kitty to the exam room there was fur all over the floor and ON THE EXAM TABLE. Not cleaning an exam table between 'patients' is just unacceptable. My kitty just went for a routine checkup & booster shots and the vet, while nice, seemed very hurried in examining her. She said she needed a teeth cleaning- so I said ok. I was told to leave her there and come back in 4 hours. Four hours later- I had to wait 30 minutes for them to find my cat. FINALLY they brought out a carrier and offered me 'pricilla'. I repeatedly told them NO- my cat is 'Amy' and described her white/gray coloring- yet they still handed me some strange black cat in a carrier similar to mine. Once I did get my Amy (who was predictably terrified) I was upset to notice that her nose was scratched in a couple of places. \r \r At home I noticed she was bleeding on my sheets where she had been lying. After much worriying and examination- I realized the problem: Whoever had taken her out of her carrier for the cleaning did not know how to handle a cat. She had apparently latched onto the cloth-covered bottom of the carrier when someone at the office had yanked her out and RIPPED OUT HER CLAW. I'm so upset! The bloody stain and the ripped-off claw inside her carrier are testaments to their hurried and harsh behavior once an owner leaves. This was a horrible experience for both me and my baby. I've even had a better experience once using Banfield (sadly)- and at least their bill didn't total $250. Pros: Nice Staff at front desk Cons: Staff is Hurried, Exam Room Unclean, Harsh Treatment of Animals Behind Closed Doors
