I have to agree with the review that this staff is rude. This was the most unpleasant and uncomfortable dining experience I have ever encountered. The staff was rude upon us entering the restaurant. There were 2 people at the bar and otherwise the place was empty. Was left with the impression that our presence was an inconvenience but decided to give it a shot anyway. I was purchasing a bottle of wine. The wine list is extensive and I asked for a bottle similar to a Pinot Grigio to compliment my meal. The staff ridiculed my wine choice and made snide comments I was about 20 feet from them and could hear everything they were saying. In hindsight I wish I would have left but after a long day of travel I just wanted a meal. I will have to say the food was delicious but the atmosphere in this place is toxic and if anyone is traveling in the Hartford CT area avoid this place by all means. I will add that I found the owners name and sent her a message to let her know of my unpleasant experience. She never responded.
