Chuck, David and his crew did what at first seemed like a good job at a good price. Then it started raining, and the decomposed granite hardscaping washed away in about 20 places. On a project that involved some stone walls over four feet high, that's a fairly small problem, but I had hoped for better. I feel they should have known that would happen, and should be willing to fix it. After many contacts, Chuck sent a small crew back and they spent about 30 minutes shoveling the gravel back where it belonged. Unfortunately it rained again, and undid their work. After one more e-mail, Chuck just ignored my attempts to contact him. Since a number of aspects of the job went well, I gave them two stars instead of one.\r UPDATE. They finally contacted me, and then sent a crew out to fix the problems. I agreed to pay for materials, but their crew of three men spent about a half a day making the repairs. They did a good job, and I think it will withstand the rain this time.
