Review content:
The visit at the Henderson office was totally unsatisfactory and in fact it did not end up with the delivery of the services requested. The visit was supposed to be a Cleaning and a general checkup. After the usual photo-shoot session, were the same set of pictures is taken every time just to justify to the Insurance Company the costs of the visit, I was left to wait in the chair (I fell asleep!!) for a long time. Dr Lin then came in and performed a ""few seconds"" examination of my mouth. She then informed of the following: a. They could not do the cleaning (the purpose of the appointment!!) since the personnel was not available. She then asked me to reschedule another visit. b. At this point she told me the real reason for the reschedule: one of my old crowns apparently showed a crack (she pointed to a shadow on one of my teeth on the screen) and I needed a procedure to replace it with a new ceramic version, thekind offered by the group. When I asked why this was discovered now and not a few months ago when a very extensive photo-shoot of my mouth was done (30 pictures or so.. mind you) and I asked to have it compared with those pictures she refused to do it and walked out simulating another pressing engagement. I then asked the assistant to reschedule the Cleaning session alone, she also walked out. I waited for several minutes. Nobody came back. I left the office. This seems to be the MO of the practice: to utilize the Cleaning sessions to promote (push) other, more expensive, procedures while the patient is in the chair. This experience is in fact for me a recurrence. Last time I went in for a cleaning I was subjected to a 400USD deep-cleaning procedure that now I question. In short, the performance of the Practice is totally unsatisfactory and the behavior above borderline unethical.
