Businiess name:  Six Feet Under
Review by:  Jennifer T.
Review content:
With all the charm associated with a much-loved neighborhood hole-in-wall, the appropriately-named Six Feet Under is located across the street from Historic Oakland Cemetary. The unimpressive outside won't win you over, but the food and drinks waiting inside more than make up for the unobtrusive appearance. They have a nice selection of beers and the usual assortment of liquor, with the only thing outstanding being the variety of oyster shooters. Seafood is the focus here, so seafood haters be forewarned! They have all styles.. steamed, grilled, raw, and fried, with fried baskets starting under $10. Everything on the menu is reasonably priced,. and unusual side dishes more than complement the fare, with choices like sauteed spinach and whole fried okra. The big downside to Six Feet Under is they usually stay jam-packed, and service usually reflects that. The big upside.. in great weather their deck upstairs has an excellent view of the city.
