This company provided a cake testing for my fiance and fiance's sister. In both cases, they decided not to purchase a cake from Montilios. However, We just received a bill for the purchase price of a wedding cake, in addition to that, so did her sister. This practice of billing once prospective clients is inappropriate. Receipt of today's bill forced me to be required to call Montilio's bakery and cancel an apparent 'order'. I asked the woman on the phone about the ethics of billing people that did not require Montilio's services and she hung up on me. I have since attempted to contact the company's owner to further my complaint, to no avail. I have complained to the Better Business Bureau as of today. This billing practice has caused both stress for myself, but a loss of business for this company. I will be making a significant effort in spreading the word about this unethical company.
