Review content:
Tama is a great, traditional styled sushi bar, excelling in traditional nigiri sushi. Many of LA's top sushi chefs have worked at Tama at one time or another. Perhaps the best value on sushi row is the 14 piece omakase for $50 that also includes an appetizer and soup. The soup I received was not your basic miso soup but a conk shell filled with shiitake mushroom broth and diced fresh conk... in a word amazing.
Any LA sushi connoiseur must pay a visit to Tama at least once.
