I am writing this on the day that I will most likely be putting my best friend to sleep. My dog Bailey was taken to Midpark Hospital about 4 weeks ago for a limp she was having. After being examined, the doctor said it was a torn shoulder muscle and prescribed some pain meds for her. She seemed to make a recovery for the next 5 days until she had a stroke! This was a Saturday afternoon around 12:15. I called Midpark immediately informing them of my dog's grave condition, to which I was told to take her to an emergancy room because they close in an hour and couldn't see her. This was undesrtandable but not what I wanted to hear. After being stablized, she would be sent home to have a follow up at Midaprk on Monday.
