This was the worst experience I have ever had with a dentist. I was referred to Dr, Bassili by my dentist for a tooth extraction. She had performed 2 root canals already and was unable to fix the tooth, so she referred me to him for a tooth extraction. He instead felt that he could try again, I don't know if it was ego or what, but to no surprise it did not work and I am now in even more pain, and he wants to charge me $800.00. Even though he was completely unsuccessful and failed at his job. Additionally, I found out that my dentist had written him an extensive letter, telling him not to try another root canal. Oh, and the best part is he didn't tell me what he was doing, waited until I had my jaw was pried open, a raincoat in mouth, and my root exposed, then asked me if I wanted him to finish the job. Seriously, did I ever have a choice?! Seriously, he's a shady dentist that's just out for the money!
