MY SON WAS A VERY SICK BABY BOY. HE HAD ALWAYS HAD PROBLEMS IN HIS EAR NOSE AND THROAT.WHEN I NOTICED A ""LUMP"" ON HIS NECK WHEN HE WAS 1YR AND 4 MONTHS OLD I WAS VERY WORRIED. HIS DR. PUT HIM ON MEDS FOR 2 WEEKS, THEN AGAIN FOR 2 MORE WEEKS. THE LUMP WAS GROWING FAST. I WAS SO AFRAID AND NO MATTER WHAT HIS DR. SAID I KNEW SOMETHING WAS NOT RIGHT.\r

I WAS SENT TO 333 E VIRGINIA THINKING THAT THIS DR. WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO FIX MY SON EITHER. IN WALKS DR. SIMMS, RIGHT AWAY I FELT LIKE HE WAS A MUCH BETTER DR. BECAUSE HE CAME IN AND SAID HELLO TO MY SON (BY HIS NAME) AND LOOKED AT ME AND SAID ""MOM, LETS SEE WHAT WE CAN DO FOR MATTHEW"". HE WAS KIND AND SHOWED MY SON AND MYSELF THAT HE CARED TOO. \r

MY SONS SURGERY WAS MADE AS EASY AS IT COULD BE ON BOTH OF US. WHEN MY SON DIDN'T WAKE UP RIGHT WHEN DR. SIMMS WANTED HIM TO HE ASKED ME TO SIT W/ HIM AND TALK TO HIM. STILL NOW 9 1/2 YRS LATER I GET TEARS BECAUSE I CAMN REMEMBER HOW THIS FELT. HE INCLUDED ME IN MY SONS RECOVERY LIKE I MATTERED AND LIKE I COULD HELP. MATT TURNED 11 IN MAY OF THIS YR (07) AND HE IS GREAT! HE HAS A SMALL SCAR ON HIS NECK AND REMEMBERS THE DRAINAGE BAG THEY HAVE TO USE AS A ""SHAKEY BAG"" HE HAS NO BAD MEMORIES OF THIS AND IS VERY HEALTHY. \r

MY DAUGHTER IS 7 AND NEEDS TO BE SEEN BY AN ENT AND I WILL BE ASKING DR. SIMMS TO SEE HER AS WELL.. THANK YOU DR. SIMMS AND I HOPE THIS REVIEW HELPS OTHERS W/ THEIR SEARCH FOR A GREAT DR. KIMBERLY AND MATTHEW OF PHOENIX
