My daughter wanted to stop and have some split pea soup. We both ordered the all you can eat split pea soup. The waiter came out and told that there was only enough split pea soup for one person. I let my daughter have the split pea soup, as she really likes it. I had that cream of asparagus soup. The asparagus was woody as if the base of the asparagus had been used. The flavor was good, but the texture of the asparagus was not. Also, my grandson ordered hot chocolate and I ordered a Chai Tea Latte, as there was a Starbucks in the restaurant. Both of our drinks were tepid, if not cold. My Chai Tea Latte was re-made and his chocolate was re-heated. I must say that the Chai Tea was not as good as have had. We spent approximately $44.00 as this establishment. The waiter kept apoligizing. It seems that maybe, he could have given us a discount considering the issues that were a problem. We were on our way home from Visalia headed toward Yuba City. We still had a long way to go to get home. It was already a bit late. I will say that the service team were great in their attentiveness. And they paid special attention to the baby, giving her a balloon which made her very happy. \r At any rate, I am not sure if I will dine here again. So, please make sure you have enough split-pea soup because you never know who might want to have more than one bowl.\r \r Sincerely,\r \r Terry Clark and family
