My girlfriend and I visited for the first time and was extremely disappointed. We were very hungry and was far from satisfied when we left. First, the decor is confusing in itself. There is rainbow of neon lights, posters of a motorcyle business from the area, and elements resembling a restaurant from Star Trek. This is combined with waitresses in traditional Japanese garments. Second, the menu has your typically types of Japanese cuisine such as teriyaki chicken and tempura which is what we both had. We started with Maguro and Ebi. The fish did not taste absolutely fresh. Our chicken was served on fancy plates with tacky plate garnishes. The chicken was somewhat dry and tasteless. The tempura had some pieces that where hot and some that were cold. I've had much larger and better quality Japanese throughout the Bay Area. Third, the price was grossly high for the amount and quality of the food. To sum it up, if you want to go to a place with style and no substance than this is your place. If you want to experience good food at fair prices this is not the place. We experienced other places near by that surpass every aspect of this restuarant. Cons: decor, food quality, grossly high prices
