Review content:
Nowhere else can you find decent food that is as plentiful as this. Sure, this isn't Dan McClusky's or Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, but it doesn't need to be. Going to Ryan's is like going to the grandma you had who could cook really, really well. We're not talking ""gourmet"" here, but wholesome, home-cooked meals which often are better than ""gourmet."" Ryan's is a terrific intersection between taste and price, the management and waiters are extremely cordial, and I try to go there as often as possible. I've eaten at country clubs in Austin, places like the Four Seasons and the Hyatt, but paying $40-50 bucks for food that doesn't leave me full is not fun. I love Ryans, have eaten there for about four years, and I'll keep going there until I die, leave Austin, or both.
Pros: Great value, Tastes like home :), Damn good food
Cons: Not terribly romantic, Not gourmet quality, Only one location
