I had been meaning to try out Reid's for awile now after seeing they won the 2004 Best of Houston award for Best Barbecue Restaurant from the Houston Press. I tried the beef sandwich with sliced beef. It was definitley delicious, and my friend who I ate with asked for more sauce so I think we agree the sauce is good. Next time I go I think I will get one of their bbq plates, or just an order of beef brisket and some beans to take home. The sandwich was good, but I don't think it would fill up most people, great for a lite lunch though. No doubt that I will go there again though.
