Review content:
My mom and I have dined at Garden Tea Room several times for different occasions and the food is always good. Several months back I was extremely disappointed in the service. We had to wait at least 10 minutes for a check while the staff and owner had a meeting at a table adjacent to us. They never acknowledged us at any point and were eating and carrying on business with NO concern for the patrons. There was only one other table with customers. We finally got up and started to leave when the waiter approached us and we were said we had been waiting over 10 minutes and his comment was "We were having a meeting". Talk about shocked and the owner was not the least bit concerned. I won't return.
Pros: atmosphere, good food
Cons: being ignored, checking back
