Wow! You become 'family' the first time you visit. The "home-cooked" food (make your reservation to eat before the show) is exceptionally good. Get your silverware out of old coffee cans sitting on the table and use "squeeze butter" on the cornbread and rolls. Some get napkins, others get paper towels -- hey, they both work, don't they? The music is healthy, honest, 'good for all the family' country, sprinkled heartily with country gospel occasionally. The best young talent will wow you and make you think Patsy Cline is actually present. You can become a 'charter member' (which our family did) and purchase the right to have your own reserved seats every Saturday night. To claim them, and get a dollar off admission, just call Joel or Wendy (or make your reservations online) before Friday of that week, otherwise they release your seats to the public. THIS IS SOLD OUT EVERY -- AND I MEAN EVERY -- SATURDAY NIGHT. Make your reservations early. Eat from 5:30-7:30. Show starts at 7:30. YOu'll love it! Pros: Exceptional family entertainment for the cost. Healthy, nothing ugly. Cons: Well, if you want to eat, get there early!
