Review content:
I trusted Triple Crown to take care of my pet and came home to a DEAD dog and over $3000. in vet bills! When I flew home I went there to pick up my dog's belongings.\r ""They"" were having problems locating her things and said it was because they couldn't remember what kennel number she was kept in! When they finally found her things they were there in exactly the way I left them 7 days before. The sleeping blanket still folded, her cans of dog food and her chew toys and treats still all there. Obviously NEVER given to my dog. And they actually charge extra if you bring your own food! When I went to management to get more details on what happened to my dog they said well, she hadn't been eating or drinking but that's perfectly normal for some dogs when they are boarded! Yey they didn't feel it was necessary to call me about this behavior! They were having a hard time remembering what had happened because there were two yellow pitbulls boarded there and they were ""confused!"" They finally told me they would pay the vet bills for me and to come back tomorrow to pick up the check. When I returned the next day the manager took me into his office and said they were NOT going to pay any of my vet bills because it was my fault that the dog died because I was a BAD owner and didn't take care of my dog properly. There's more but let me close with this... I went to a lawyer and he said I definitely had a case but that the best I could recover wouldt be the ""dollar value"" I paid for my dog. Since I adopted her from a rescue that would be only $60! I am a senior and live on a fixed income and could not afford to pursue the matter any further. I hope anyone who reads this will think real hard before leaving their pet there especially over Christmas/New Years holiday when the staff is more concerned with celebrating while my holiday was spent grieving.
