So about a month ago my wife and I walked down to Bottega - we'd never been before and wanted to try a breakfast place that's close by. The front door was open and we walked in; but before we'd made it 2 steps in, a man shouted at us from the back ""We're not open yet!"" .... not ""Oh sorry, we're not quite open just yet."" Or, ""The kitchen hasn't opened yet, but if you want to sit for a few minutes and wait, we'll be happy to serve you""... more of a ""get-out"" vibe. But whatever, I try not to judge too quickly.\r

\r SO today we went back. We were seated and immediatly realized that the table next to us was having a fight with the manager. Something about how long everything took - he was less than gracious and offered to comp their Orange Juices. WOW - that's customer service. After those people left, the manager was talking to the waitress about them right in the middle of the restaurant; we heard everything. And then a man walked in and said, ""Hi can you seat 6?"" to which the manager replied, ""Does it look like I can seat 6? No."" \r

\r Ok - summary: Our food was pretty good. Our waitress was fine - not rude, but not making any special effort. So if you just want to eat - Bottega is great! However, if you want to give your money to a place that gives a cr@p... this isn't the restaurant for you. Pros: Larchmont - that's a plus all by itself Cons: They don't like their customers
