Review content:
I was referred to this Vet through friends, however they were unaware that the previous owners SOLD the business. The new Vet was not very helpful in determining my dogs sickness. She simply wanted to charge me for medication without doing anything else. I took my dogs on 2 seperate ocassions and they did the same thing both times. I dont have a problem paying for animal care; however, do have a problem with the same sickness being diagnosed and all you deem necesary is to charge for more of the same medication. The vet didnt do a check up or sample of any kind. All she did was felt on my dog and shoved me out the door. \r \r The Vet technician also lied to me in reference to getting a perscription for Heart worm medication online. She told me they were out of perscriptions, so i proceeded to ask, how can you be out of perscriptions? All of sudden the technician pulls out a pad and begins to write the prescription. As she is finishing the prescription she then tells me that there would be a 10 dollar fee for writing the prescription. I abruptly told her to keep the paper and I will take my business elsewhere. I gave them 225 dollars in 1.5 months and you want to charge me 10 bucks for an online prescription. not to mention she asked how much i previously paid for heart guard. I told her 50 bucks/per year and her next sentance was that they are now 80 dollars. in theory 50 plus the 10 dolllar fee is good. The only problem is that she had already lied so I didnt believe her or her 80 dollar Heart Guard. \r \r Come to find out I was right because after calling 2 vets in the same area , I was informed that the average prices ranges from 50 to 65 dollars for a year supply.\r \r SO PEOLPE DONT GO HERE! THEY ARE IN IT FOR THE MONEY AND NOT THE HEALTH OF YOUR ANIMAL. BIG lose for THE RIVERSIDE ANIMAL HOSPITAL as I have 4 dogs and liked the fact that this vet is in my area. Pros: Location Cons: Bad service and Bad Vet all around.
