Review content:
I make my own Indian food and have for years - rarely go out for it, even though it takes hours to prepare anything remotely authentic, because it takes amazing food for me to prefer restaurant fare. This little restaurant in Studio City is fantastic. I eat meat but only ordered vegetarian because of the friends I was with, and I really enjoyed both the regional specialty I ordered (chick peas) and the aloo palak. We ordered the spinach & garlic naan, thanks to another Citysearch reviewer and it was THE BEST naan I have ever tasted. The spinach is fresh and it is loaded with garlic, the dough was piping hot and just crisp enough. Amazing. I will be craving that naan often. Not sure about the reviewer who said this Indian was bland - I would say it's light and fresh but definitely not bland. A real gem.
Pros: Variety, spinach & garlic naan, desert list
Cons: I was there on a weeknight, but I could imagine parking could be an issue on other days
