Review content:
The sushi is wonderfully made and rewarding to the taste buds, but you have to consider all the other food items as well. We seem to go to Shogun more than we do some of the other Japanese restaurants and sushi bars. Yes, as you said the interior won't wow anyone, but...some of the best tasting sushi bars in Tokyo won't wow you either, but the food definately remains on the mind.
