Review content:
If you live or work anywhere inside the beltline, this place is a must try! I have lived in Raleigh for over thirty years, but only discovered Finch’s about 3 years ago. Now I eat lunch there 2 to 3 times a week. Their daily specials are an incredible value. The food is good and the service is equally as good. Don’t be bashful. There are coat and tie patrons, blue collar patrons, and let’s just say extremely casual patrons there all the time. If you like breakfast for lunch, you must try the “Big Mans Breakfast” even if you are not big, or not a man. George, the Griddlemeister, will make it fresh for you in no time at all. . If you like hash brown potatoes, as I do, these are the real deal. I guarantee you will not leave hungry. I also love their chicken club sandwich. I have never seen any employee with a bad attitude, in fact, quite the opposite. They are always friendly, and if you cannot decide on your meal, they are patient. If a gourmet meal is what you are after, your in the wrong place. However, If you enjoy good, old fashioned diner style food, this is the place for you.
