• My first contact with 125 Bridal was in Feb 2011, Jane the former owner told me I had to set up an appointment that they discouraged walk-ins so they could give their customers a quality experience. So I made an appointment. When I got there, there were three staff on duty, one bride was picking up her dress and leaving. As I was standing there another lady rushed in, and a staff person asked if she could help her. I then stated that I had an appointment and had been standing there for well over 20 mins. I was then told they did not have my name listed for an appointment, even though I had received a confirmation phone call the evening before. This other lady did not have an appointment and was looking for a wedding dress for her wedding that was a few weeks away, two of the sales clerks rushed to her aid. As the Mother of the Groom, I was shown a rack of dresses that was so much taller then me and jammed in to the side of the store. I was told my size was at that end, and left to pull dresses I might like to try on {not one in my size}. My friend and I took about 5 dresses, and then I was lead to a very small dressing room with just a curtain. As I came out in the first dress, needing it to be zippered there were three men coming out of the other dressing room. I felt exposed. I had to track down the sales clerk for any sort of service. After what seemed like hours there I purchased a JORDAN dress, and was measured by the new owner Natalie. I questioned her measurements and she told me that these dresses are smaller then street sizes and assured me that according to her measurements this was the right size for me. The dress came in the other day. AGAIN I was called and asked to make an appointment to pick up the dress. I did as asked. When I got to the store there were two very young sales clerks moving stock around. I had to call one of them over. She did not seems to know that I was coming in to pick up the dress, I told her that Natalie told me she would pull it and have it ready when I got there, the clerk looked even more confused and said she needed to go out back and look for it. ABOUT 45 mins later. She returned saying she could not find the dress and her manager was on her way in could I wait. I stated that I had already waited over 45 mins for a dress that was to have been pulled earlier that day. It was only then that she looked at a few dresses hanging there by the Desk. WHERE MY DRESS had been hanging the whole time. I got the dress home and was very disappointed with the quality, and construction of the dress. Frayed and loose lace, under stitching showing through the lace and a bunched up zipper, made the dress looks like I got it from a thrift shop. THE FIT (which was according to the manager’s measurements) was so far off. The waist is about an inch too tight, and no room to open it up in the seams. THE BUST LINE, is at least 12 inches too big. I called and Natalie told me because I didn’t stay and try to dress on when I picked it up, there was nothing she was going to do, and that I signed legal documents at the sale, and there was nothing she was willing to do, stating that she had a seamstress on staff that I could have make alterations at my cost. I CALLED JORDAN FASHIONS and they said there is nothing they can do for me as their client is 125 Bridal and if there is an issue with the construction of the dress, it needs to come from them, not me. Now I am left with a dress that was at least $60.00 more than any other store. It is in such bad condition that I cannot even re-sell it.
