This was a HORRIBLE experience. I was given a gift card so a friend and I decided to go and take advantage of the 2 for $20. I will say, Jayson, our server was very attentive and apologetic (the only good thing that came from the visit.) I ordered the Applebees sirloin with mashed potatoes and veggies. The veggies were old, and way over-cooked, and the potatoes were similar. The steak was COLD. My friend ordered the 3 Cheese Penne with grilled chicken. There was less than one strip of chicken cut up, and a mixture of penne and alfredo noodles. Her meal was also cold. When we brought this to the attention of the Manager, Kenya, she DID NOT apologize, but offered to replace my friends pasta. My friend requested the Oriental Chicken salad (grilled). After about 20 minutes of waiting, (and hearing the kitchen staff yell and complain about the order) the wait staff brought out a FRIED Chicken salad. My friend had stated THREE times to Kenya that she wanted grilled. After informing the waitress, she took the plate back. A few minutes later, Kenya came to ""check on my friends meal"" and my friend explained the 2nd error. Again, NO APOLOGY from Kenya. When her salad finally came out correct (over an hour and 1/2 since being seated) we were in too much of a hurry for her to enjoy it. Kenya offered to take my friend's meal off of the ticket, but then prorated my meal, the appetizer, and charged for both drinks. Our '2 for $20' meal became a '1 for $18' miserable experience. I strongly urge EVERYONE to avoid this Applebee's. There are multiple other locations with a competant manager, this one is unfortunately stuck with Kenya. HORRIBLE!
