Review content:
I had the eggplant parmesan. It was served on a bed of spaghetti with their red sauce (marinara or tomato sauce, not sure). Lots of cheese, lots of pasta, not very much eggplant. Tasted good, but not great. Would have liked to taste more depth of flavor in the sauce. Table had the ""usual"" shaker of parmesan cheese which was the cheap powdery variety with little flavor. Red wine I ordered by the glass was warm... like 80 degrees -- while I don't expect chilled, I don't expect it to feel almost warm in the mouth. The A/C was just fine, chilly even so it seems maybe they stash the bottle near some warm equipment?? The sauteed green pepper appetizer (comes with the meal automatically, I think our waitress said) was very good - it is dressed in oil, vinegar, garlic. Good for eating on bread and dunking bread in the bowl to get the last bit of sauce. Atmosphere has a nice ""family"" feel and was conducive to conversation although our waitress lacked a sense of timing and always seemed to be interrupting without a polite pause. Pros: Family atmosphere, good food, good pepper appetizer Cons: Sauce could do with some additional spices
