Cataldo Interiors is the north shore's best kept secret. Owner Jeanette Cataldo is a miracle worker. I am a realtor and hired her to stage a ""problem"" listing. I had the house on the market for 8 months with ""no bites"". The general complaint was that the home wasn't large enough. In actuality, this property was 1700 square feet but packed to the gills with ""stuff"". Although I did my best to explain to potential customers that large furniture and wall colors made the house appear deceivingly smaller, I could not find a buyer. I also tried to make suggestions to my sellers but they were resistant to my suggestions. I decided it was time to bring in a professional. \r Jeanette provided a ""1 day staging"" service and basically turned the house upside down!!! Not only did she convince my sellers to remove their clutter (unlike a realtor, when a designer says ""get rid of it"", people tend to be receptive and ready to comply) but she also rearranged their existing furniture and made some ""clean up"" sugestions. \r I received an offer at the next open house and we closed w/in 45 days. I have no doubt that this was a direct result of her staging. The truly amazing part was that my sellers did not have to spend $$$ buying new furniture or accessories. Jeanette simply used what was available. She is awesome! I now offer a staging consultation (at my cost) to all of my sellers and I feel it makes a huge difference. \r I am now using Jeanette in my own home and have had the opportunity to see her select everything from paint colors to accesories. She is wonderful! I can't praise her enough... Pros: able to use existing furniture/accessories and create a totally new look
