Review content:
I bought a preowned car from volvo of richardson recently. They call themseleves upscale dealership, but haggle even for $50 dollars. I agreed to price as I liked the car. The salesman (Olivier Zitoun) was very polite before deal and promised that everything in the car has been checked and there is no problem. When asked about the owners manual, he promised to buy it himself from adjacent Honda dealer. He asked me that he cannot write it on paper as it is from his side and his manager would not know. I trusted him as thought I was delaing with human being and not anyother salesman. But I was wrong. After waiting for few weeks he tells me his manager does not want him to buy it for me and his job will be at risk. I do not know why did his manager come into picture. The salesman now tells that he cannot do anything and his attitude has changed completely. He just lied to me to complete the deal.
After two weeks the battery died. When asked if they had checked the battery during their inspection, the salesman says his manager would know and he cannot comment if the battery was checked or not even though he insists that the complete car was checked thoroughly. He even saaid the battery is cheap like $40. But he does not understand that buying a car from a dealership means these things are already taken care. A big liar!!
I would not recommend this delaership specially the preowned section.
Cons: Liars
