Review content:
Went to Spalon recently for a facial. The esthetician was fantastic (Lynda); she massaged my neck, shoulders, face, scalp, arms to the extent that it almost felt like a massage rather than a facial. Results were great, no pressure to buy product, common sense suggestions on improving my skin. I found the locker area to be on the small side and would have liked to see a steam room or sauna to enhance the experience. The spa staff were very helpful and soothing but the front desk experience was anything but professional. I was not greeted attentively and while talking to a front desk member she continued to shout to other staff members. Everyone seemed confused about what they were supposed to be doing and it didn't make me feel welcomed. I believe the spa experience (relaxing, soothing, attentive) should begin at the front door, not once you get to the treatment room.
Pros: Lynda was an amazing esthetician
Cons: Much more ""salon"" than spa
