Review content:
As a person with long, wavy, thick (i.e. difficult to cut and style) hair am I rarely if ever satisfied with my haircuts. People either want to cut off my longish hair to create a more ""trendy style"" which inturn makes my long face look even longer or they haphazardly cut too many layers giving me a very unattractive mushroomheadlook. However, when I sat in Petra's chair she said two things that made me know I could trust her; one was don't ever cut off your hair and two was don't ever cut too many layers in the back. After my haircut I was all smiles, when usually I leave the salon trying not to cry.
As an extra bonus The Little Hair Shoppe is not only affordable, but it is also free of the pretension you find in most other NYC salons. TLHS does not disappoint!
Pros: Talented, Friendly, Knowledgable
