We just came back from eating here. I have to say that the entrees were absolutely delicious! I am a huge fan of Thai food and have been to Thailand, so a bit particular for authenticity. I had the Siam Steak salad. The meat was not the best cuts, but it was moist and not overcooked and dry. The lime juice, chili peppers and fresh herbs made it extremely tasty. I wondered what the ""vegetables"" would be because the menu did not specify that. Turns out it was halved cherry tomatoes, slivered onions and raw cucumber pieces. My dining partners had Tom Yum soup, Phad Thai, and Chicken Pad Prik King. The Phad Thai was sweet and saucy and the chicken and green beans were amazing. A very good balance of spicy and flavorful, with crunchy, fresh green beans and tender chicken breast slices. The Tom Yum soup (with chicken) was amazing! Plenty of lemongrass for that exotic flavor, and just the right amount of spicy. For dessert we had Tiramisu, Cheesecake, and Thai Custard with sticky rice. The Thai custard was actually made on site and was coconutty and delicious. The cheesecake and Tiramisu on the other hand were pre-packaged and still partly frozen. They were OK, not great. This place would do themselves a service by not offering them. The Thai Iced Tea was sweet, strong, and creamy. On the downside, I felt the portions were a little scant for the prices they were charging. The service was very friendly, but a bit slow and kind of inept, like everyone was still in training to work at a restaurant. We beat the dinner rush and got a parking spot curbside right out front. There is a small parking lot around the back, but it was full even though we were the only customers. I would have given Thai Cabin 5 stars, but I deducted one for the small portions and so-so frozen desserts. Pros: Delicious entrees, friendly staff Cons: Scant portions, prepackaged frozen desserts
