I seriously do not know where to start! I was a member for almost 2 years at this club only because I was financially strapped. Every day I wished that I could move down the street to Equinox were they respect their members and do way more than the occasionally shifting of dust (NYSC). The trainers are rude and disrespectful to the members, don?t even think about sharing any space with them in this cramped gym, because you might get yelled at like your 2 and just put your hand in the cookie jar. The bathrooms are filthy and their towels feel like sand paper. The equipment looks like hand me downs and there are limits on the crazy hot and busy peak hours. Well peak hours may be better if on a regular basis 4-8 cardio machines weren?t out of order. To top it all off most of the staff is overweight. Sounds bad but if I want to be motivated to look my best, NYSC should be preaching what they sell. Equinox for just a few extra bucks is like a spa. I actually saw a women cleaning under the sink. All the lockers have hangers and they provide tampons (free)! To top it off when I went to cancel my membership they still charged me and are now telling me I have no proof of ever calling them, because they had my wrong e-mail on file. NYSC could get case of ring worm for all I care. Move on if you?re serious about your work outs. Pros: Not a single one! Cons: Staff, Equipment, Overpricing, Cleanleness
