I went in for a prelimenary examination and Xrays (basic x-rays a person normally gets at a dentist). They billed me a total of $477: $100.00 for the ""Comprehensive Exam"" for looking at my teeth; $175 for ""Panoramic"" Xray; and ANOTHER $202 for Full Mouth Xray.
My Insurance payed only $100 (for the comprehensive). They tacked on as many charges as they could and were going to keep doing that through out the treatments. I will have to pay nearly $400 for Xrays this is outrageous!
For Orthodontics they estimated a Whopping $7000 for Braces - Normally these Braces run anywhere from $2500-$4500. I had just been quoted $3500 for Braces at another good dentist a few years ago and did research which told me this Dentist has a ""friendly"" staff - but will totally take advantage of you when it comes to price!
