Review content:
I just moved to Ghent and assumed because of the location and product line they carry that Angelo Mesisco Salon would be quality. All I can say is that every time I look in the mirror I can' t believe what is staring back at me. I went in with ""virgin"" medium brown hair to get a few honey colored hightlights. Jan, the colorist, said due to the thickness of my hair she wanted to ""hair paint"" instead, which is essentially highlighting in specific places without the foil. I woke up the next morning with thick yellow stripes down my head. Went in that day to have it ""fixed"". She put a base brown glaze color on to ""calm it"". I then had bright orange stripes. Because I didn't want to overprocess, I waited a month, went back in yesterday and told her to get rid of the orange. She instead put another red base brown in my hair and it turned, literally, deep red. Horrified, she quickly threw a dark bown, non-red, on top of it. Today, the day after, it is distinctively the color of a Burnt Sienna Crayola Crayon. I'm a professional in my early 40's and have the hair color of a 20 year old punk rocker from the 80's. She asked me what she thought she should do to correct the color, that she was out of ideas and kept apologizing over and over again saying she had never had this happen before...but she's supposed to be the expert. When I asked the receptionist for the owner's information she scribbled something completely unreadable on the back of a business card and I was so mad I just left. I look ridiculous, From medium brown wanting honey highlights to now overall burnt dark orangey-red. I don't even know what to do now to fix this--it's beyond words ugly and unnatural, like I was trying for an ""artsy"" look, when what I asked for originally was subtle highlights. I believe I'm going to pursue legal action if they don't give me my money back and pay to have this corrected. But where? If someone has an answer, please share. A HORRIBLE place all around. By the way, if I could rate a negative star, I would.
