Review content:
The uneven reviews make me think that some people do not realize there are 2 different Piedras Negras, the restaurant Piedras Negras De Noche, which is on the I35 acess road, and the Cafe, which is on Laredo St.\r
Piedras Negras De Noche was a 2 story building, til there was a fire, about that time they took over the old Pizza hut.\r
\r
The food is Authentic Tex Mex, the service can be erratic, but partly because it is usually so crowded, And really, you aren't paying over what, $25 a plate,,,, and you want 5 star service? It is a family place, You just need to be assertive. \r
With the variety on the menu you should be able to find something you love, but if you don't want San Antonio Tex Mex, don't order the ""Mexican Plate"". That is the culinary equivalent of ordering a hamberger in an american style restaurant. the chef's best work is elsewhere, \r
Enchilaldas? try Verde o Mole...
