INITIALLY THE WAITER WAS PLEASANT, AND THE FOOD WAS GOOD. THE TWO OF US ORDERED EACH ORDERED TACOS AND WHEN THE WAITER ASKED ""BEANS AND RICE"" WE AGREED. ALL WAS WELL TILL THE CHECK ARRIVED AND IT CAME WITH TAX $23.95 . WHEN I QUESTIONED IT THE WAITER WAS QUICK TO BLAME THE APPARENT BUSBOY FOR THE MISTAKE AND THE ""NEW "" TOTAL WAS $17.85 ! AGAIN LOOKING AT THE MENU IT STATES ""TACOS(2) $4.75"" NO MENTION OF RICE AND BEANS TILL YOU LOOK AT THE ""SIDE ORDERS"" IT STATES ""RICE BEANS OR SOUR CREAM"" $1.95.\r
WHEN THE CHECK INITIALLY CAME , THERE WAS $1.95 TWICE LISTED SO, LOGICALLY, EVEN THOUGH THE WAITER TRIED TO PASS OFF THE ""RICE AND BEANS"" AS A MATTER OF FACT GIVEN WE HAD TO PAY $1.95 MORE PLUS THE $4.75 FOR THE TACOS , RIGHT? WRONG. ACCORDING TOTHE WAITER, HE ORDERED US THE ""ESPECIAL"" (2) AT $7.95 EA BECAUSE RICE IS $1.95. BEANS ARE $1.95 PLUS THE TACOS WER $4.75 PER ORDER. THIS DID NOT FLY WITH ME FOR TWO REASONS, 1. THE FIRST CHECK CLEARLY STATED TWO ADDITIONS OF $1.95 EA. IF HE ORIGINALLY CHARGED US FOR THE ""ESPECIAL"" WHY WOULD HE SHOW TWO ITEMS AT $1.95 PLUS THE TACOS. \r
2. IT DOES NOT SAY OR DID HE POINT OUT THAT THE RICE WAS $1.95 AND THE BEANS WERE $1.95 SEPARATELY. SO THE BETTER BILL WOULD BE TO CHARGE US FOR THE ""ESPECIAL"".@$7.95 EA. BY THIS TIME I'M SURE YOU ARE AS BORED BY THIS AS I WAS. SO, I WAS GETTING A LITTLE IMPATIENT AND STATED ""WHATEVER JUST CHARGE ME AND LET ME PAY AND GO"" THE WAITER THEN STATES ""I DONT LIKE THE IDEA THAT YOU THINK THAT WE'RE RIPPING YOU OFF BECAUSE WE ARE NOT!..I PAID, I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THE RESTAURANT AGAIN.
