My wife and I enjoy most meals at home. When we eat out it is to enjoy the experience. What is most important to us is friendly service. I can often overlook problems if the service is friendly. Unfortunately this restaurant is lacking in almost every area. The food does not seem to be fresh. It seems more like frozen food. The service is very slow and inattentive. The most troubling aspect was the arrogant atmosphere. The manager seemed unconcerned with the customers except for a table of apparent regulars or friends. I make a point of not allowing a single experience to shape my opinion, knowing that sometimes problems do occur. However, I experienced the same outcome on a second personal dining experiences as well as a business luncheon that I attended. The food quality very poor and overpriced; however, it is the way business is handled that makes this a restaurant to avoid. Since my last visit, I have talked to several individuals that have the same experience and story. Abilene has so many good restaurants. Do not waste your time and money on a visit to this one.
