I found Yuki's through the Car Talk website (it was recommended as one of the best places in L.A.), and I could not agree more wholeheartedly. They were honest about what did and did not need to be done, quite the opposite of the normal 'maximize the bill' approach most car places take. I have, sadly, since moved to Northern California ... but was inspired to make this post when, upon my maintenance light coming on, I called Yuki's to see what they thought would or would not have to be done -- and they gave me an answer significantly more satisfying and informative than the new place I've found up here in the Bay. If it weren't so far, I'd definitely still bring my car to Yuki's :)
Pros: Quality, honesty, pricing, ability to explain needed fixes in layman's terms
