Businiess name:  Lucia Italian Restaurant

Review content:
I visited the place in mid December 2008. I didn't have dessert, but I brought a party of 8 to this place after seeing that they had vegetarian options. I am hard to please and have a picky family. We ordered a wide selection, from meat dishes to vegetarian. Every dish we ordered was excellent, and many were not typical american-italian items. The service was very low key but the food came quickly. The one waiter it turned out was feeling down because of the slow season but he warmed up. The unfortunate aspect of this place is the decor. To me it's a wild west parody - something I would have expected in Kanab Utah. But I went for food. I can't agree with the negative reviews. However, I wouldn't choose this place for a wedding rehearsal dinner, replete with stressed bridezillas, groomzillas and motherzillas. I will be back to Newport, and I will make a point to eat here again. Pros: Quality food and vegetarian options, parking lot across the street, good shopping area. Cons: Decor
