These are kids right out of high school with basic knowledge that are told to read a chain of commands. I can go in there and stump them within a few seconds. i can call and ask for a part and they will have to find their supervisor (the only person with computer experience). they are overpriced. they are a rip off. One of my customers went in there for a lost HP printer CD. The geek squad kid told them they have to buy a whole new printer because you cant get those cds. YOU CAN DOWNLOAD THEM AT HPdotCOM. They also kept my other customers laptop for 14 days and said it had a bad motherboard.. charged her $199 for diagnostics. She brought it over to my office and all it needed was a reinstallation of windows XP. \r You can read the horror stories all over the internet, ask some friends and deal with the geek squad. But i would recommend picking up the local phone book and calling local professionals... like Crashmasters on apple ave.. \r Thanks for your time. =] Pros: non Cons: not smart, ripoff, overpriced, bad diagnostics etc
