I've been going to Vartali for over ten years, and I can't imagine going anywhere else. After years of enduring indifferent service delivered with a condescending sneer at other midtown salons, it's been a joy to find a place that manages to combine exceptional professionalism with genuine heart. Marco has not only managed to keep my hair color looking like it did when I was 20, but, when my father died he saw me on an hour's notice and, when the color didn't take because it had grown out so much during my dad's illness, did it again the next day for free. Luke styles my hair with incredible imagination and flair. Tatyana performs the waxing of the gods, with a manicure to match. Elisabeth does the best pedicures I've ever had. And everyone, including assistants, desk staffers, coat checkers, and even technicians I don't even use, makes me feel like an honored guest. A true find!
