Review content:
Ten years ago I used to be an unofficial member of a chinese family that owned a fantastic restaurant. It served as the mainstay of the local chinese community and the food was worlds better than what I found anywhere else. Ya Shu Yuen II is as close as I've ever gotten to that. We've had most of the standard fair and it's always top notch. On rare occasions they miss on some of the basics like fried rice, but a miss for them means it's just average, not bad. The big soups (jum bong) and seafood dishes are all good, and I'm eager to try their steamed fish., but I haven't tried the sushi. \r \r Bottom line - excellent, top notch Chinese cusine. Seriously. Pros: awesome food, exceleltn variety of great dishes, extremely nice people Cons: none.
