I was diagnosed with a thyroid disorder about 10 years ago. I lived in another part of the state at the time and had a dr. treat me for this disorder, which helped me to get pregnant. This dr. told me that I would always have this thyroid disorder. I then move to Sacto. I find Dr. Eisenbud. I go to them, they run tests and call me and tell me the results are ""normal,"" no need for any more meds. I was abit skeptical but I had alot on my plate and didn't have time to seek a 2nd opinion. Well, fforward to now. I had a blood test performed at work which showed my levels high. I call this office for a re-check. They run their own test and tell me my levels are normal. This time I ask for specific ranges. When they give them to me, I tell them they're out of whack (one was high, one was low, which indicates a disorder). The nurse tells me the Dr. thought this was acceptable and nothing more to be done. Sheesh. Do I have to self-diagnose myself? I felt like I was dismissed. They also wanted me to take a bunch of other tests and come in for a follow-up. Follow-up for what when apparently they didn't think I had any issues. Sounds like padding the books to me. I am now seeing a new office. Pros: Easy Appointments...Now I know why Cons: Overall Rude and Incompetent
